While we expect these to be non-disruptive for most organizations, there's always the possibility of a small number of errors to surface within the Avid application. **Note: We do not expect any impact on the Avid application, Insights, API-based integrations, or Pathways during this maintenence.** SFTP System Upgrade https://status.avidai.com/incident/519568 Wed, 26 Feb 2025 22:00:00 +0000 https://status.avidai.com/incident/519568#cbbb93e12d396eb16c57ba17d950af43c9b13391e0c79f039c3ee778dbdbc8db Maintenance completed Avid SFTP-based Integrations went down https://status.avidai.com/ Wed, 26 Feb 2025 21:28:12 +0000 https://status.avidai.com/#e7beb42527cbddb40b9ac95d14a16e66ac66007ff18b7e1a987a2a91d88394bd Avid SFTP-based Integrations went down Avid SFTP-based Integrations recovered https://status.avidai.com/ Wed, 26 Feb 2025 21:26:32 +0000 https://status.avidai.com/#c1727aeedf4f0c66f2c4442c1b7a37a246ecb6d6a87430f3f2a173e9ab3ace80 Avid SFTP-based Integrations recovered Avid SFTP-based Integrations went down https://status.avidai.com/ Wed, 26 Feb 2025 21:25:09 +0000 https://status.avidai.com/#c1727aeedf4f0c66f2c4442c1b7a37a246ecb6d6a87430f3f2a173e9ab3ace80 Avid SFTP-based Integrations went down SFTP System Upgrade https://status.avidai.com/incident/519568 Wed, 26 Feb 2025 21:20:00 -0000 https://status.avidai.com/incident/519568#7d88b78cb8a77f0185e873e94ded3837fdb68b9611ba5ee0118bf7b4f7790852 Due to planned maintenence and infrastructure upgrades, SFTP uploads may be briefly unavailable during this window. While we expect these to be non-disruptive for most organizations, there's always the possibility of a small number of errors to surface within the Avid application. **Note: We do not expect any impact on the Avid application, Insights, or existing Pathways during this time period.** Brief errors loading Avid web application https://status.avidai.com/incident/479161 Mon, 16 Dec 2024 16:45:00 -0000 https://status.avidai.com/incident/479161#54d6efec8056a9a42ec2682d798a8eb4ef3b548e883c22c9a7c07f5e5803eb8f Beginning Dec 16 at 10:41am CST, the Avid web interface would return an error message (500 server error). These errors lasted around 75 seconds, with the application returning to normal by Dec 16 at 10:42am CST. This issue was related to our need to perform unplanned maintenence on Avid's internal metadata database used by the application (which is separate from the systems that manage client data). This maintenance was to scale capacity to handle increased load, and due to the nature of the systems involved was required to be performed concurrently on both the primary and redundant nodes of this system to ensure integrity. Note: There was **no** impact on backend systems related to the security or privacy of sensitive client data. **Since this maintenence could not be scheduled in advance, we consider this a 2-minute unplanned downtime incident, reducing our trailing 30-day uptime to 99.9954%.** Other Avid systems, including API connections, SFTP uploads, and outbound Pathways were *not* affected, and data should be current for all clients. We take any downtime incident seriously and apologize for any inconvenience it caused, and will continue monitoring all production systems to ensure normal operation. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team with any questions or concerns. Degraded access to Avid web interface https://status.avidai.com/incident/453439 Tue, 29 Oct 2024 21:05:00 -0000 https://status.avidai.com/incident/453439#74da87bd5e2ef05ead5d219a6b89dc53c03634cd233608561cb8386ab7396f57 Beginning Oct 29 at 3:58pm CDT, some users experienced slow, incomplete, or failed loading of the Avid web interface. Access was intermittent during this period and did not fully return to normal until 5:02pm CDT. The root cause of this issue was related to system jobs on our primary web infrastructure that were waiting for a delayed input and continued additional attempts until resources were depleted. This load caused page views to be delayed or return an error, resulting in the degradation of the web interface. There was **no** impact on backend systems related to the security or privacy of sensitive client data. **Despite some requests being successful during this time, we consider this a 14-minute unplanned downtime incident, reducing our trailing 30-day uptime to 99.9667%.** Other Avid systems, including API connections, SFTP uploads, and outbound Pathways were *not* affected, and data should be current for all clients. We take any downtime incident seriously and apologize for any inconvenience it caused, and will continue monitoring all production systems to ensure a return to normal operation. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team with any questions or concerns. Degraded access to Avid web interface https://status.avidai.com/incident/432050 Fri, 20 Sep 2024 01:40:00 -0000 https://status.avidai.com/incident/432050#497733bb91504e951cc9904b13e5c66f4dad19bed8fc31c2f70613d1efd9ba8b Beginning Sep 19 at 7:26pm CDT, some users experienced slow, incomplete, or failed loading of the Avid web interface. Access was intermittent during this period and did not fully return to normal until 8:39pm CDT. The root cause of this issue was related to an upstream problem with file processing that caused an unexpected load on one of our database servers (not related to the storage of sensitive client data). This load caused connections to be delayed or rejected, resulting in the degradation of the web interface. This incident was further compounded by an abnormally large number of organizations performing initial setups at the NIO Summit conference, leading to an above-average baseline load prior to and following the incident. **Despite some requests being successful during this time, we consider this an unplanned downtime incident, reducing our trailing 30-day uptime to 99.899%.** Other Avid systems, including API connections, SFTP uploads, and outbound Pathways are *not* affected, and data should be current for all clients. We take any downtime incident seriously and apologize for any inconvenience it caused, and will continue monitoring all production systems to ensure a return to normal operation. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team with any questions or concerns.
